With chocolate moulding, I started with purchased silicone, which was quite costly. Silicone is great, but I wanted to make a reusable, food-safe compound that was cheap and easy to produce. 

The compound is heated to liquid and poured over a clean statue, then left to set in the fridge. The statue is removed, then warmed, liquid chocolate is poured in, then it is set back in the fridge. This compound can be melted down and reused indefinitely, stored in the freezer when not in use.

Fudge is a sweet, soft, chocolatey snack, and super easy food product to make. A large batch of chocolate and condensed milk is melted down and then various colours, flavourings and crushed sweets may be added. It is then set in a lined try in the fridge and trimmed into smaller pieces. It can be decorated with anything including lollies, chocolate and crushed sweets. Pieces can be presented on coloured doilies or wrapped in plastic.

The most fun thing about the holiday seasons, is becoming creative with snacks and presentations. These can vary widely from decorating containers to making food into various shapes and also creating fun gift packs for people to enjoy. Items can be one-off and unique, or batch produced in bulk for celebrations. They can be presented on a tray simply for functions or individually wrapped in nice packaging for gifting.
