For all orders, unless specified, items are packed in standard recycled packaging. This can include salvaged, as-new materials from my workplace's received deliveries, reusing packaging from previous client orders and reusing materials that arrive with my own ordered craft supplies. 

When ordering, brand new materials can be used instead, especially with gift purchases. Clients can specify preferred materials, colours, themes, gift tags and embellishments. 

The most commonly used material is bubble wrap or thin foam for fragile items. This is secured with tape, covered with brown packing paper and tied with a natural twine. A Black Lion Crafts label is affixed, and a gift label can be printed with a thermal printer or made from another craft material.

Pieces may also be boxed, especially for bulk orders. Boxes of appropriate size are recycled, often being painted black and affixed with a Black Lion Crafts label and gift label if requested. A foam inset can hold the statue in place or a bubble wrap 'nest' covered in tissue paper offers the most secure protection.

Another packaging option is clear cellophane, which is usually reserved for gift packs or may be used where the gifting party would like the item to be visible without unwrapping. Organza bags may be used with tiny items and jewellery.
